Up early as seems to be my normalcy these days. Thinking about volunteer work this afternoon but as luck would have it, they called me and cancelled my shift. Oh well. As it turned out the crazieness started not long after that. My computer, which is my life line, failed to work. Called store and they think it is the cable that supplies power to computer which costs about $90. Couldn't reach my brother, he was golfing the lucky swine, so counted up what cash I had and headed to store by cab. Weather shitty so could risk taking out my scooter to make the very long drive to the store and disability buss doesn't go that far as the store is outside the city limits. Got to store and sure enough it was this cable so bought a new one. Finally got my brother coming just off the golf course and asked if he could come pick me up which he did. We then headed cross town to make an appointmet to for my eyes as they have been really bad lately. Got all the way there only to realize my computer was not in the car. Raced back and luckily found it on the bench outside the store. Thank god nobody saw it and stole it. The Universe was watching over me with this huge mistake. So all the way back we went to the eye place to be dropped off while my brother went to the bank to get the funds I'd used to buy the cable. Turned out it was my glass frames were cockeyed so they were able to fix them while I waited and didn't charge me for the time. Again, the Universe was taking care of me. Got picked up by my brother and driven home so he could get home, eat and to work on time. Just sat down in my apartment reflecting on the crazy morning when realized I didn't get my money from my brother so called him and sure enough he also remembered that at the same time. So back he came and gave me my money. We laughed about all the crazy back and forth running around and I promised him I would not call him come hell or high water until next week.
So that was my morning and I was exhausted. I dozed for a while after lunch and read and watched tv. I heard from Kris later in the day and we chatted quite a bit and again later in the late evening. It was a really great conversation covering many different topics. Said goodbye nearing midnight and went to bed and read some .... So although the first have of the day was crazy the later part of the day and evening was really nice and good.....
