Nov.16/13 A Busy Saturday

It is a gloriously beautiful day here in the Sound. I had a real good sleep last night and woke at a very respectable time and in a very happy mood. I decided that it was way to beautiful day outside so I canceled my bus and took off on my scooter. I did a lot of things done. I got my Passport pictures taken which look really bad and ordered 2 books from Bella which will be delivered sometime next week. I picked up some groceries and a cake and munchies for tonight's potluck/games night. I'll eat then head downtown to get more cash at the bank before it closes. Looking forward to going out tonight with my young new friend Carm.

Decided not to go downtown. I was tired from this mornings running around so cat napped on and off during the afternoon. Going out later and didn't really want to be too tired anyway. I'll post this now and should something fun or exciting happen this evening add it in but really not expecting much.

Today I was so grateful for this beautiful day and am very grateful for all that is happening in my life. For the happiness and contentment and a new friend. Life is a Journey and my Journey is happy.

Turned out that the potluck/games night was really good. There was about 10-12 women there. The food was delicious and lots of talking and laughs. After everyone finished eating the games came out. Uno, Chinese Checkers and Scrable began. I didn't play anything but watched and talked. Good Music on a nice system was played continuely. I knew some of the women but met 4 or 5 ladies I'd never met before. I talked a lot with a couple of very nice and interesting women. There's a Jazz/Blues concert in Mid December at the Roxy Theatre that a number of ladies are going to so I signed up to get a ticket and go too. I'm really looking forward to. Maybe we'll meet and go out to eat before the concert. Carm appeared to have a good time as well which was really nice to see. I went expecting nothing and ended up really enjoying the evening. I am really grateful for the whole experience and feeling so comfortable. It was really nice showing up with someone else and interacting with everyone there. It was a very nice evening and am grateful for all who were there and their friendliness.
