Nov.25/13 Lots to do today

Woke an hour before the Alarm and got up, stretch out all the kinks and started my day. I had a bus scheduled to pick me up at 9 and verified it well before that time. Waited and waited and finally called about 9:15 to see where it was. The Driver didn't have it on his list of pickups. This has happened before. I finally got picked up about 9:25 and got to the hospital quite late but did manage to get a good hour and a half in do it was productive for me and them. Bussed home, quickly ate and then was picked up at 12:40 for the AAC meeting at City Hall. It was a good and very informative meeting with the Consultant reviewing the new Provincial Guidelines and just what the AAC role is in this process through 2015, I have one more year on the Committee before having to step down for a year before re-applying.

I sure hope that my friends can make it over at 7 tonight as I'm sure we all are looking forward to it. I won't be surprised if they cancel but I will be a bit sad. I'll just have to be patient and wait to see what happens.

Well I didn't have to wait long. Katie is stuck in Toronto and won't be making it back tonight, /Such a bummer and it just reaffirms my total dislike of winter. Oh well, it is was it is and hopefully another date cab be arranged soon. Asked Carm to see if she and Katie can figure out a mutual time and let me know since any evening they pick will be a free evening with me. So another evening with the TV to keep me company.

Nothing else to talk about today. I'm looking forward to therapy session tomorrow and hope that it too won't get cancelled as well. I'll hear in the morning if it is or I'll phone the Secretary to confirm when the phones open up. I also need to confirm when my last session with Margo is. I think it's Friday before volunteering but not too sure.

I am grateful for attending what I did today and for all that I'm learning. \I'm grateful to all of my friends  and all that I learn from them. They are all so very nice and very friendly,
