Dec.11/13 Blizzardly Day and Bloddy Freezing

Woke up to a bad blizzard and -16 bone chilling cold. Received package for Kelsey containing my Christmas and Birthday gifts. Beautiful wrapping as always. Also contained the 8x10 Photo of her Graduation last Spring for Carleton University. It is so beautiful and Can't wait to get a frame for it. It needs a very prominent place of honour in the living room soon to be followed by Tobies and then a year later by Quin's. So wowing that this is all happening for them. My proud feelings knows no bounds for all three of them.

I took the bus down to the Bank then walked up to City Hall. Bought a bus pass for January then called Glen to pick me up. He took me to the grocery store and I got stuff I needed and my carton of Cigarettes. Nothing else needing to be done until tomorrow afternoon. Will do the usual and watch TV, finish up Xmas Cards and tidy up and read before sleep.

Really had a good chat with Carm and chatted with Kris a fair bit to while she was waiting to pick up Jack. May or may not chat with either of them later but I have a lot of things I want to get done myself tonight. Will start on it after I eat supper.

It's now after supper and am not really feeling like doing my cards and other things tonight but I will write cards for work tomorrow. Maybe tomorrow morning if I know Katie is still coming over.

May chat with Kris as she says she might this evening sometime but think she'll be to sleepy after her Jack time and getting him to bed and of course to sleep. He slept 12hrs last night so I'm pretty sure he won't go to be until really late. Carm and I talke constantly up until about 6:30 then she went out. Said she'd let me know when she got home later.

Again huge gratitude to Glen for helping when I was out this afternoon and gratitude to my kids for always thinking of me and talk with me whenever I capture them at home. I'm grateful for being able to purchase my $60 bus pass for Jan/14 and not having to worry about it over Christmas holidays. I am grateful for being able to walk during the storm and on the greasy sidewalks downtown without my cane.
Once again I am very happy, content and have my health such that I only have manageable aches and pains and am reading a novel, although read many times, I love. So much gratitude I have for so many different and differing reasons.
