Tues.Jan.20/15 I'M FINALLY MOVING TO OTTAWA

WELL IT'S A GO ...I OFFICIALLY LEAVE OWEN SOUND FOR GOOD FEB.23rd..Just 5 weeks to get everything ready. I'm Moving to a Retirement Home in Ottawa as my Health and Safety are controlling my decisions. Don't know if I'll again be able to live freely and independently but I did it here so maybe I'll be able to there. Will always have hope and faith.

I also got my Rocky back this afternoon. He is well on the mends but not totally out of the woods as yet. I still have to give him some pills tonight and tomorrow. I will NOT try to put them in his mouth but will put them in Pill Pocket treats. If he eats them Wonderful if not I won't worry too much. I have to take him back to the Vets for a Urine test a week from today and we'll see what's what. I am terribly happy to hear his loud purring once again and he's just been so loving on me it's great. I don't care today that gobs of his hair is floating all over the place and getting into my eyes and mouth. He's home and that is all that counts.

I remember the bachelor pad at the Home as I spent a lot of time visiting that room with a woman that had so many problems. She has since passed after I had left there but memories of her are flashing through my minds eye a lot today. There are only a few things left to get done paperwork wise and a phone assessment with the Director of Nursing which will be sometime next week. I'm not worried about this as I remember this person who was just one of the many nurses there when I lived there.

Tomorrow's my 55th Birthday and will be celebrating with my good friends Sue and Ed. They have invited me for Dinner and  she's even baking me my favourite cake (white cake with Chocolate icing). I will have to tell her my move date is only 5 weeks away and she is going to take this news quite hard. I am her only friend she's had for over 35 yrs. But she's come along way and I have no doubt she'll find some other ladies to befriend. She is an incredibly caring and giving person but  knows now to stop people walking all over her as she use to. She's Nobodies Doormat and will never ever allow that to happen to her again.

Today I'm once again Grateful to my Brother for all the hard work he's put into getting everything arranged for me to move and despite being terribly allergic to my Rocky he's put up with the conjestion he instantly experiences whenever near him. He's taken/picked up Rocky to and from the Vets several times and has stayed as long as needed here with me making phone calls, going over Vet instructions and doing all that is necessary to get this move organized and moving.

It's going to be a crazy hectic 5 weeks for me to get packed, say goodbye to many

Just chatted with my Daughter Kelsey and she told me something that brings tears to my heart and Soul. She said she can't wait until I get settled so I can start helping her with all her wedding plans and desires. She even wants me with her when she when she try's on Wedding dresses. I'm not feminine woman in the least and really thought she wouldn't want this, which would not bother me, but it does make me all sappy inside when she told me this. Hopefully I'll be able to find a pant suit kind of thing to compliment the bridesmaids dresses with her help. It's going to be a wonderful year and a half as they've picked their date as August 2016 because Bryan's only sibling, an older by 1 year, brother has his wedding planned for July that year. This is assuming that his better half doesn't get pregnant with their 3rd child before hand. Their last date was cancelled due to the unexpected coming of there 2nd daughter.

YAHOO so much excitement to look forward to. I'll just have to take it all in one day at a time to enjoy everything in my life!!!!!!
