March 25/14 It's Getting Better as each day passed. THANK GOD

It's been a while since I last wrote here in my Journal. I don't like leaving my daily activities so long as I know I'll forget important moments, good or bad, and experiences. But it happens especially after all that's been occurring in my new life in Ottawa. I'm really reaching into my memory banks and hope I can summarise all that's happened I finally have found a Councillor who will help give me guidance and direction over the next bunch of weeks. I see her on Wednesday morning real early (9am). I so hope I can connect with her and that she calls Margo to get a bit of history on me. I really don't want to have to spend to much time rehashing my life again. I signed papers giving Margo permission to discuss what and where I was before I left Owen Sound. I certainly hope this councillor does this with Margo. I now have WIFI installed in my room and loving that I do. I don't come out of my room much anymore so no longer have to deal with the difficult residence here. I do go to the dinning room to eat and pop my head into events here that may hold my interest. I am happy for the most part being alone and doing the things I enjoy without interference or interruption. Rocky certainly likes having me near him instead of constantly running out to the lobby to FB my friends. I have completed as much as I can without help in the Apartment. My son was too busy last week to come over and help me. Hopefully he'll come tomorrow evening and we'll finish up what I need his help on doing. I had a couple of unexpected visitors show up unexpectedly last week. I was so thrilled to see them and to be able to give and receive such beautiful hugs. I love hugs and how a good hug makes my heart and soul soar. Kelsey also came over to take pictures of what's broken on my Scooter to send to Glen. He will take them to Parker's to get their opinion of what it should cost. I've also asked Glen to buy the proper Scooter covering there and bringing it with him when he comes to Ottawa for Easter. Not sure if he'll actually do this but I'm pushing for it. I got the latest version of Skype loaded on my computer and last night had a very nice Skype hour with Kris. Great chatting with her face to face and talking about her fabulous Florida vacation with her 8yr old son during the March break. What a nice way to bring the very cold bitter weekend to an end. I really enjoy our talks now that they are on such an equal level. We both are enjoying were our friendship has come to. It's a very healthy and balanced friendship and I am very grateful for a friendship that is now based on an equilibrium that works for both. Went to Kelsey's late Saturday afternoon to go through all the boxes of stuff that went there when I moved. I took a few things back and Kelsey took what she wanted and made a small pile of things for the other two to take if they want to and everything else will be taken to the Neighborhood Services. She unpacked all my China and will keep for Tobie if she wants it. If Tobie doesn`t want it then Kelsey will keep it. This really made me happy that one of the kids will have it. Kelsey even set her Dining room table with it for dinner. Bryan cooked a wonderful meal and we had a very nice dinner together. It really made me feel wonderful that Kelsey did this for me. She`s such a thoughtful caring young woman. I am proud to be her mother. I really got my fill of playing and watching the new puppy Samual and the huge 10 month old Ben. It was so funny watching Sam just casually walk between Ben`s legs and not touch Ben`s belly when doing this. The 2 dogs are inseparable now which is so wonderful to see. These boys are going to grow into gentle giants over the next 12 months Kelsey and Bryan have finalized the date and place for their wedding reception, June 25,2016. It`s going to be held at a beautiful place on Dow`s Late. No idea yet as to where the Church will be other than it will be a Catholic service. Kelsey and I have now got all the paper work signed for the banking situation here. Just waiting for Glen to get a document signed by my Parents removing them from my accounts. All should be officially completed by the end of this week hopefully. Kelsey has many Bills to get paid and until next week she can`t write any cheques until this final document is faxed back to the Bank from my brother. This has been a real problem getting organized but we`re almost there! I made the decision to forego the promised rug replacement and Wall painting promised me when I moved in here. Ed came the other day and successfully removed the huge blood stain from the living room carpet then steam cleaned the carpeting throughout the Apartment. There`s a couple of Cranberry juice stains that just would come out but they are small and I can live with that. I am very satisfied with the results so this closes this issue for me and for them. This is all I can remember but suffice it to say a lot happened last week and it was all good and I am walking with a lot more stability. As the stress levels have been going down, the mobility has been improving a lot. Will always need my walker near me but I love just walking around without needing it as much. This has been very encouraging for me. Well, that`s really about all I can remember and I am so blessed and grateful to all that has helped me so much with so many things. Glen, Kelsey, Quin and Tobie of course. Also I have tremendous gratitude for all the staff here. They have been so wonderful
