A rainy dreary day today...Couldn't use my scooter due to rain so had to call a cab to make it to my byweekly Quit Smoking counselor. I've now been smoke free for over 4 weeks and am very determined to beat this 40+ year filthy habit into to the ground. I`m very determined to win this battle once and for all! Anyway after $12 bucks and a 10 minute appointment I was back at home & relatively dry. I spent the day playing around on tweet as I wanted to follow Traci Dinwiddies tweets. They are very very funny. Also want to follow a few others because I`m interrested in some of the things their interrests. I realize the I spend alot of time on my computer and easily lose track of the passage of time. I guess it`s a drawback to living alone and not being very busy.
Later in the early evening I received an email from someone that I had been trying to reach over the last 25 years or so. Our families were very close in the early years and she was an only child and spent alot of time with our familly at our cottage or just doing family things with us. Our moms have stayed in touch by letters and phone calls to this day but us kids went our separate ways. She was a very good friend of my sister Cathy who died nearly 25yrs ago. Seeing Kim again would be very cathartic to both my brother and myself as I`m sure it would also be good for Kim. I really hope she emails me back as I`m hoping to meet up at the end of the month. She lives about 3hrs away from where I live but I have to be in her City for an annual medical appointment. keeping up the faith....
