-visited by Glen early this morning for just a sister/brother get together, Really nice and needed by both of us
-Not going to Protest at City Hall as Glen has a major presentation and it would adversely affect him because he would be thinking of me instead of his huge presentation he's been working on for so long
-I'm good with this and totally understand his needs. I would not be missed anyways
-Have to check into something re: Dad's slippers, went to a few places before I found exactly what he wants and needs, Glen will take him to try them on to make sure they are what he needs and wants
-Went to Bank again because yesterday's spending took up all my funds but I had to get things that were needed, not just wanted extra's
- picked up some needed groceries since I was downtown anyways
- I've created a new page on Facebook to try and set up seeing if people within the LGBT Community are interested in meeting for an hour or so to have coffee and just chat a bit. This is an attempt by me to reach out and maybe make some new friends. It may work or may not but nothing ventured is nothing gained Right??
- Jaki, my friend, helped me with setting up this new Facebook page which I am so grateful to her for first giving me this idea and for helping me set it up
-Next thing for me to do is talk with the Manager of a new place in town to see if He would be OK if I advertised meeting at his new place and then make up notices to post around town so others might see it and show up .... I'm keeping my faith that this might just work out. YAHOO
- Spent some time talking with Tobie by phone which I always love and cherish
- Nothing else on today so will watch TV and read and maybe get the chance to chat with my other Kids as well
There is just so much that I am grateful for these days and am so happy with how things are working out.
