I've not been able to write for a couple days. I've been busy and unable to focus my thoughts. So am giving it a try. I don't want this process to slowly fade out because I have really been helped and want to continue working on bettering my thoughts and behaviours. So what has been going on. Well my oldest daugher gave me the most incredible give by telling me she's coming to see me in early December. I have'nt seen any of my kids since early last May. Well this news spurred me on to get out and do X-mas shopping. I want to have everything bought and wrapped before she gets here so she can take them back home for everyone. I've been walking in the clouds since she called with Joy and happiness. Less than 3 wks to wait. I am working on taking back even more responsibilities regarding my finances. Been negotiating with my Brother and its looking good and just might become a reality. Getting closer and closer to my ultimate goal of having complete and total control of my own life. I really don't know just how close I'll get because of health problems but just trying and taking tiny steps is so good for my self esteem. With each new step it brings that much closer being a healthy functioning productive person. YAHOO !!! It's been such a beautiful and warm unexpected continuation to Indian summer since last week and is expected to continue until next weekend. Yippy I say. I'm getting so much more done than I thought I would. Got to spend some really great time with my nephews. They are identical twins and they as well as ones girlfriend came home to visit the familly. I love and adore the boys (nearing 27 ) and it's looking more and more that the one and his girlfriend are getting more and more serious. Maybe a wedding in their future. Sure hope so. l Can't wait attend a wedding of either my kids, my nephews or my niece. It's bound to happen soon for one of them. They're of the age now where several of the friends are married or engaged so the wave has begun.
I'm just about finished a book that has kept me totally captivated from the first paragraph. It's almost 900 pages and I have less than 50 to go. I love to read but I think this book is right up there as probably the longest and most engrossing books I've ever had the pleasure of reading. Superb !!!
I've always gone from book to book and quite often have 2-3 others that I'm reading at the same time. I oh so love getting lost within a good story. It truely does become real for me when I'm reading. Never read much as a kid but really got into it about 20-25yrs ago. I was so hard when I lost the ability to read for a few years but was incredibly blessed with a daugher who would come and read to me for hours on end while she was in highschool. Nothing could describe my graditude for my daughter.. It was a fantastic bonding experience for both of us.....I think I've broadly brushed over the highlights of my life over the last 4-5 days....I'm happy, I'm content, I feel great. I'm positive it's all related to the great weather I've been enjoying....until the next synopsis.....
