Wed 28/13 Incredible Weather - Finally

What a beautiful clear day today. Temperature reached 24C and the sun has been shining so gloriously without clouds to hide it. On a day like today It makes you glad to be alive and well which I felt today. I awoke before 7am to the the sounds of alot of different birds chirping their happiness. In a few weeks from now I'm sure I won't I won't quite be so happy with the birds but for now I oh so welcome their happy songs. After lunch I hoped on the scooter and headed to the other side of the City to drop in on my Parents. As I pulled into the parking lot I saw my Dad sitting on his walker seat enjoying the rays. I waved wildly as I headed towards him. My Mom came out and I went with her down to the end of the street to mail a check to my cousinl as he will be placing an Obituaryl notice of my sisters death, 25 years, on May 24th. A difficult day every may for my parents of memories both good and bad. May 9th is my 26th wedding anniversay but I've been legally separated from my husband at least 11 or l2 years now. No need for a divorce since neither of us will ever remarry. We have always remained good friends over the years and will remain so throughout our lives. Love the weather, love the happiness it brings, love seeing all the seniors back out on their porches aftelr such a long long winterl this year. Soon I'll get my Hummingbird feeder fixed up and hung outside on my patio and buy a flower basket to hang as well. I don't sit out there to much anymore since I quite smoking last June but will hopefully do so a little more this year. I'm really really happy because my friend and I will be skyping this friday and catch up with each others livesl. I'm lucky because I know How close I came to sabotaging that relationship. I'm sure we'll figure out how to maintain this friendship that will work for both of us....I'm now ready to cut back and I know she is just way to busy with her life.....As I've said, I'm happy and peaceful right now and will surely hope to stay this way for as long as I possibly can....Yippy Dippity Do expressed just how I feel today
