Thanksgiving has come and gone and I'm still aglow with happiness and contentment with all the gifts I received. My gratitude is abundant for so many people and things in my life. Today is another beautifully sunny cool day. Perfect for getting out on the scooter to absorb the fresh air and pick up a couple of things at the grocery store.
Last nigh I talked with Kris for a long time letting her express her feelings and fears. She had a horrible time with her soon to be Ex and was full of tears and anguish. She said she felt a little better after we talked which was good. We will talk again later if she has some time in her very busy day and evening. I hope we do connect sometime so I will know how she is.
Finally getting my act together regarding my attempting to start up something new with the LGBT Community here. The Facebook page is up. The bulletin is ready for putting up around town and I've sent an email to another member to see if she can add it to the Pride page here in town. The date and place has been confirmed so now it's just a matter of showing up to see if others show as well. I really hope so because I think it is a good thing to do. Just another effort to get out and meet people with the hopes of making a couple of friends in the process.
I sent out the bulletin to Jaki and Kris for their critique as I won't be downtown until later in the week to get them posted.
Charlotte just Skyped with me and all is good there. She's putting in an offer on $850K home which I really hope she gets. She's a realastate agent and sold a house of mine years ago. Fingers, eyes and toes are crossed for her.
That's about it for this day. Nothing on tonight unless Kris has some time to chat. I'll just have to wait and see how things go.
